One of my favorite restaurants, very strongly recommend. Exceptional food, wine and service. I’ve eaten at the restaurant and I’ve also had the famo a casa takeaway initiative both have been wonderful experiences. The menu changes with several courses including the antipasti. The experiences are always a wow. I can’t wait for the restaurants to be open again so I can eat in!

Made with love. During Covid-19 times, they have added a take-away, in kit form sets. With precise instructions how to cook the pasta. Wonderful! You can still dine in. Recommended, one way or the other.
Went here for a group dinner with 14 people, so maybe that accounts for a relatively mundane food experience. The service and staff were great - super professional. But to be honest, the food wasn’t anything to write home about. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t particularly good either. The wine didn’t match the courses very well either, thought the prosecco was quite good. Altogether, this group dinner didn’t make me think that I’d like to come back and see what else the chefs have to serve.
The food was delicious but very expensive. It was crowded and it took quite a long time to be served. For such price one expected to get a better service (f.ex. Anti pasti being served individually instead of sharing from a big serving plate for a group of 8!). The 4 retter menu with 4 Anti pasti and 2 main dish and desert (350 kr) with a bottle of Italian beer (50 kr) and water (30 kr) costs 430 dkk.
There is only one menu but the food was fantastic. Friendly and fun waitress. A large selection of wine. The restaurant is quite small and should be booked in advance.
Awesome take away...
As an Italian I can only say Famo has one of the best cuisines ever. IT does not come really cheap but it is definitely worth every single kroner you pay for it.
Excellent Italian restaurant with simple but very well produced dishes. Friendly staff make the ambience warm and welcoming. Packed on popular nights like Friday and Saturday you must book in advance. Meals include 4 courses which are really generous and full to the brim! Prices range 350-500 DK depending on the ingredients used. Hand made antipasti are delicious and risottos made on order, not warmed up, so perfectly al dente. The wine list is sensational. We went for the Tancredi which was fabulous. Downside is this is not great for vegetarians - and if you’re vegan or can’t have dairy - you’re best skipping this. Call in advance and make sure they know you’re vegetarian.
