Try to get inside the dome. It's free but the place is still very nice. There are butterflies flying around like you were in a real tropical forest. I like the way they arrange the space into different continents/countries as well. It's quite a nice place for kids to explore. The garden outside is also very very beautiful. In the summer, there are a lot of young people and families gathering here.

Very nice experience, free entry. The botanical garden is very neat and well looked after. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

I love botanical gardens and try to visit them wherever I go. This one in Aarhus is really nice. The spectacular dome greenhouse is one of the eye catchers of the city. Free entrance and good design of routes let's you wander for about 30 till 60 minutes if you'd like. It's not very big, but it's been taken care of really well. It's great for kids and has a nice coffee place.

Very interesting seeing plants from around the world. The tropical section even has butterflies flying freely around. Best part...its free too!

Such a nice place to spend an Autumn afternoon!

Really great place. The temperature is pretty alike to the original place where the plants are from. The desert climate has sand and desert related temperatures and plants. Likewise for other climates too. Good description for the trees and free space and time to navigate and learn about things at your own free will

A fantastic free botanical garden. Would recommend.

Very nice considering it's free of charge. The only let down is that it's a very short experience, an hour at most and the gift shop is a bit lackluster (surprising considering this is where they make some of their money). The cafe inside is well operated and good quality. The butterfly dome is the highlight, I would recommend making the climb to the top of the central tower, views at the top are worth it!
