Saw the Ramasjang play with the kids and they loved it. Everything worked out great even with the covid-19 pandemic, so great job Øster Gasværk staff! Felt safe and not in any risk og getting the covid-19 flue.

This is probably my favorite theater in the whole world. The stone building was originally the shell of a gasworks - today the theater is built up inside this shell, which gives a raw, cool, artsy atmosphere. The view is good from any seating. A lot of great productions are set up here.
Very Charming!
We saw a child play about the Greek gods. Parking is free in connection with activities. When we were there a lot of construction was going on and finding our way was a little tricky. But there was plenty of parking. Indoors there is possibilities for a snack. Popcorn, candy, chocolate bars and beverages. We had front row seat and had a perfect view. Hanging your jackets will cost 20 dkk and is handled hassle-free. Acoustic could be better but after some getting used to it was manageable. Great venue for a theatre.
Extremely charming venue located om inner Østerbro, 10 minutes by bike from the city center. The place is an old, converted gas plant, refurbished with great taste to leave most of the original walls and ceiling visible to the guests.
