This is the worst experience ever: Me and 4 other “brown “ buddies of mine decided to go to randers wellness to relax and unwind from Aarhus we drove, thinking it would be a great day. Boy was we wrong. The place itself was very good, but as soon we went into the indoor pool they had, the lady that apparently patrols the floor was steering and keeping an eye on us. We did not think much of it at first, but she keept coming in and out just to make herself noticeable And nobody was there but us and we dint make any form of disturbance or anything. So we decided to go downstairs and chill in the big swimming pool and long behold she followed us, for no apparent reason. The place was packed, but she only looked at us and we thought it was odd. Cause we have been here before and never been followed or anything before. Long story short , we decided to go upstairs in the sauna and she still followed us and we could not believe it. We are trying to relax and everybody was doing exactly the same as we did…JUST RELAXING. So we confronted here and asked her if there were anything wrong and asked why she followed us. She then replied “ it is true I am following u to check if u are making trouble. We were all in disbelief, why are u only following us and what have we done to make you suspicious about us. She did not want to leave our site, so we decided we could not stay here. I was harassed and bullied out of the place on the basis of our skin tone. We were only there for 47 min. what an embarrassment. I have heard from other friend as well, that the way they treat “non white” people is different. I will never go there again.
Wonderful spa area with access only for adults and good fun for kids downstairs
I like the place. It has a 50 meter swimming pool which is what I basically use. It has other sections as well. I like it that they have a large handicapped and family locker and washing section. It is fully equipped for handicapped people with all sort of washing tech for people who cannot even sit and should be lying down all the time. It is also good since many people like me do not like the usual Danish locker room, where there is no private shower. So people can use private showers in family/handicapped section, where they can wash up without anyone staring at their genitals. It would be nicer if the swimming hall temperature was a bit higher. It is generally quite cool and it takes some time until your body gets uses to the temperature. Price is 50 DKK for 3 hours in the 50 meter pool for adults. A bit expensive but not too bad.
Great spa/relax facilities and services. We especially likes the saltscrub in the sauna and saunagus. Both new and interesting ways to have a good feel when you exit. The lady leading tve saunagus was very very nice and we managed for the whole session even though the mrs is in her late pregnancy. Awsome experience! Clean facilities and welcoming staff. What brings the points down is the fact that there was a mandatpry id-check with lists kept for some reason. Its 2018, GDPR is a fact and here we seemed go ignore all that. Not good. Whatever the logics are behind the id-check, it could have been managed in a better and more intrusive way that is GDPR-compliant.
Very expensive! but nice facilities
confusing first times and no help or understanding from staff
100% relax
