I dag er aktiviteterne i Tørring Kanoudlejning udvidet med udlejning af pakketure, kajakker og teambuilding /events for både private og virksomheder. They provide with a map and useful info about the surroundings. Take into account the direction of the wind when leaving, wind in the back when leaving might bring you quiet far, but you need to return.

We rented two canoes for a week long tour down the Gudenå: one Canadian style canoe to carry two persons and most of the luggage and one kayak. The Canadian style canoe was well maintained and equipped. Apart from the usual stuff, it had good seats and wood planks at the bottom so that small amounts of water in the boat would not bother us that much which was great since we had lots of rain… In general, the kayak was fine as well, though not the best I have ever used. There were some small details missing like a missing rope to tether the boat to something or no neoprene padding for the knees. But these were minor things. The communication with the personal and the service were good. We got an additional map along with detailed descriptions about what we should look out for and additional messages to warn us against an upcoming storm in the middle of the trip to prepare us in case we didn't hear about it. At the end, while minor details could be improved, the service deserves a 5-star rating.

Meget fin service og gode til at rådgive og hjælpe hvis man er tvivl om en tur. Vi fik anbefalet en tur på ca. 20 km. om dagen hvilket passer godt til 2 voksne i kanoen. Ved ankomst står der hjælp hos dem med forklaring og kort-gennemgang og bilen kan transporteres til slutstedet. Alt i en god oplevelse og vi kommer bestemt igen!
