This is an important site in Samso and Denmark as a whole I imagine and it is very interesting as a short stop, take a few minutes to look around. You can have a bite on the picnic tables and there are some info placards on the site history. It would be somewhere to stop at on your way somewhere else I feel. You can walk to the east coast easily down a wee path for a stretch of the legs before carrying on to your destination..

Good piece of Viking history. I was really pleased to see something created in the Viking area. You can see by the curve in the land where the canal was.
Worth the quick visit as it provides some very interesting history of the area. Only 10 minutes, but probably would not drive out of my way to see it.
A short visit to the viking canal dug by hand more than a thousand years ago is worth a visit and is free.
Yeah it’s ok :)
Interesting.
They do a nice job of illustrating how it would have looked in the Viking age, along with informational signs. Not much else to say, the rest of the credit goes to the viking's who dug out this insane project in the first place!
