In 1889, Brøndberg & Tandrup was born in Denmark. It was founded by famous people in Copenhagen: producer Brøndberg and master Tandrup.The enterprise included a metal product factory and a lamp factory. The company was engaged in the development, production and supply of various products and devices for the marine industry, as well as for ships and ports.In parallel, the company provides services to the public - the sale of various lanterns and lamps, the replacement, repair of devices and components, the sale and maintenance of domestic water tanks and kettles, pots and other metal utensils.BTI remained in the hands of both families for decades and was very successful until the end of 1990, when the shipping industry in Denmark fell into decay.Since the end of 1990, the company has focused on the use of accumulated knowledge, skills and experience from the marine sector to the wind energy sector. Gradually, BTI has become one of the leading suppliers of aircraft lights warning of various obstacles emanating from the height of wind turbines in Europe.In 2010, BTI became a subsidiary of Dialight PLC and was named “Dialight BTI”. Dialight is a major supplier of LED beacons. And today, the company continues to focus on the wind energy sector and develop new and more efficient products for both onshore and offshore operations.
