Most reviews and photos are misplaced. This is the train station at the ferry dock not the crossing or the ferry service. Small fairly deserted station, where some tracks have been converted to a animal sanctuary. Ok toilets, working ticket machines but no other services. This station serves the train from Copenhagen to Hamburg in both directions.

Cool to travel through. Do not ever book a train from there. They will simply not stop if they are in danger of missing the ferry, no matter if there are people standing at the station, ready to board the train. They will just leave you standing there.

Ferry station, no more no less, no store to buy anything but you're usually just stuck here a maximum of 40minutes until the next ferry
