Thus, real measurement of effect is substituted for by pseudo-measurement concepts like AVE (Advertising Value Equivalence), pushing practitioners to chase press clippings and Facebook likes rather than actual results. That is why Quantum's mission statement is: "By creating insights, we provide clients with ways to improve their communication to help them fulfill their purpose and reach business objectives"​. We do that by advising our clients on how to measure, evaluate and document the actual effect of communication to ensure that it is always supporting the overall organisational objectives. And to make sure that KPIs are met while at the same time new strategic insights are generated, allowing our clients to optimise their operations in the future. Quantum PR Measurement is Denmark's first member of the international Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC). As such we support their work to set a high standard of quality in measurement and evaluation and we work to educate the market in general on the benefits of measurement and evaluation.
