Fishing and the fishing industry have a dominant position in Denmark’s biggest fishing port where they have a strong and complete value chain with all links from catching and landing over processing to sales and transport.
Very busy place in the summer season by boat and people. A lot of small restaurants around where u can enjoy food at the port
Skagen Harbor is the focal point between Kattegat, Skagerrak and the North Sea, where a large part of the catch is processed on the dock and transported further into Europe. The central location in relation to the catchy waters makes Skagen Harbor an obvious landing port for larger fishing vessels. Skagen Harbor is Europe's largest port of pelagic fish, where over 125,000 tonnes of fishmeal and oil are processed to more than 60 countries. The catch of pelagic fish consists primarily of herring and mackerel, where herring accounts for about 100,000 tonnes annually. It makes Skagen Port to Northern Europe's most important landing port for herring.

Rigtig hyggeligt
Det er en stor havn både industri og lystbådehavn der er altid noget at se på. Restauranterne er måske lige i den dyre ende.
