I had a blast with the Miljøkajakken! I absolutely loved it, even with minimal kayak experience. (For more info read full review) Pros: - The initiative (collecting trash from the sea) really eases your conscience. - You get a hands-on experience of how important it is to clean up the seas and oceans or not polluting them in the first place - People wave at you, thank you or even take photos of you (they always asked beforhand) for your good work - It's just fun to swim through the canals in copenhagen - The website and information are in english and danish - If you rent the kayak a person will come and help you boarding it - After 30 minutes you have easily collected enough trash so you can enjoy yourself for the remainder of time - It's completly free! (If you collect trash) Cons: - The english of the person who helped us wasn't great. It was good enough for the job but don't expect any bigger discussions / questions to go well. Conlusion: I would recommand this to anyone who doesn't mind picking up some trash in form of plastic bags, beverage cans or bottles and who wants to help the environment.
