Placed in a posh area one would expect it to be pricey - and it is. There's a fresh salad bar with good stuff, and the entire selection of foods are surprisingly large for a small joint like 'Købmanden i Søllerød'. Also the non-food selection is big, and on a Sunday afternoon you can get most of what you missed at the mall. Although there are some selections of foods you would consider luxury or semi-luxury, this author fails to see, why it is called a gourmet-grocery. That's not warranted. Years back with another owner, there where specialty stuff, (wines, even caviar a.o.) you could only procure from KiS, that's not the case anymore. Nice and friendly staff, although perhaps not all professionally trained.
The best local shop. Excellent service. There is always champagne in the fridge and you can buy blinis. If you forgot your wallet you can pay later. Pro tip: Get more champagne
Nice service minded personnel, always happy to help. Great assortment of daily goods and food. They also carry specialties. They also have freshly baked goods which are really good. Can recommend shopping here.

jeg var kommet for at hente en pakke for min søn og han havde selfølgelig bestil noget meget tungt men jeg var så heldig at personalet i købmanden i Søllerød var så hjælpsomme så de bar min pakke op til kassen og der efter til min bil og jeg har hentet pakker for så mange steder og ingen af dem har været så flinke som dem her deres butik er også meget ren det er faktisk en af de reneste butikker jeg har sæt før det var et meget sødt personalle især ham den unge mand i kassen jeg vil anbefalde det her sted vis du leder efter godt personale/service og kvalitets vare
