This 8 ft tall bronze of a polar bear flanked by two cubs (Isbjørn med unger) is located on the quayside in Langelinie. It was sculpted by Danish artist Holger Wederkinch (18861959) and won a gold medal in Paris in 1929. It was gifted to the Harbour Board in 1937 by an anonymous donor.

If you walked to the Little Mermaid walk a little farther and see the bears. Less famous but frankly a better statue.
