The food and the wine is just great, we ordered the 5 course menu, but we actually ended up getting like 8 courses, because the kitchen came with multiple surprises. The service is great and the staff was very helpful no matter who came to our table. Loved it. Great value for the price.

Simply incredible. One of my favourite restaurants. Not only was the food delicious and well prepared, the service staff were top notch and very friendly, catering to all our needs. While all the mains were superb, the 'surprises' you get on the way are equally outstanding. We had the regular 5 course and the vegetarian 5 course and both menus were designed around the same theme and delicious. Highly recommended and a fantastic experience.
The Host is one of our favorite places in Copenhagen. They only offer a 3 or 5 cause menu. And they are absolutely creative and delicious and the wines are matching nicely. The service is also very good. The only critique is that they’re pushing quite a bit through the causes. We almost had the next cause on the table before we were able to finish the last one. And they always placed the next wine before we finished the last one. A bit more time and the experience would be perfect.
Everything was perfect. Service was impeccable, food was out of this world, great vibes, and surprisingly affordable considering the quality of food and service. Will return if I ever visit the city again.
I had made a special booking for my dad 60’s Birthday. We were a group of 8 and we got the private room downstairs. It was a fantastic experience and the food was has expected. Full of surprise and flavours. Everyone was very happy. Make sure you book in advance.
Absolutely delicious food. Every single dishes are cooked to perfection. Some creative combinations of flavours and ingredients. Service was great with very friendly staffs. Love their homemade gin and tonic too. Best meal we ever had in Copenhagen!!!
absolutely fantastic tasting menu. 5 dishes, plus 3 surprises, and their freshly baked bread and homemade butter. everything was sublime. served in a beautiful setting, by professional staff. thoroughly enjoyed it. deserves all the reviews and stars it gets
I think this restaurant represents the creative innovative Copenhagen restaurant scene quite well. Yes, there are quite a few other places in Copenhagen with Michelin stars that may be doing fancier dishes but I think this might be more approachable way of getting a taste of the foodie scene here. :) Place is also super cute, great for small groups as well, but it does get quite warm inside in the summer.
