Maybe it's not genuine Japanese food. I don't really know. Just feels like it's adjusted for Europeans. Most important is that it definitely tastes very well.

The sushi was delicious. In particular the salmon was amazing, melting like butter in your mouth. The staff was wonderful. Thank you for the experience, we will come back next time we are in Odense :-)

Really good sushi restaurant in this area. The green tea with roasted rice is also good and worth to try. The tempuras are good & crispy as it should. Chicken karaage is good as it is, crisp & non-greasy. Good Japanese restaurant.

Details matter! Odense has several Sushi restaurants/places but in terms of quality, freshness, and beautiful details KOI Sushi is the best place to go! The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect starting music ending the service. I highly recommend it!

I was surprised about all the five star ratings and thought we have to convince ourselves about that. Very friendly and professional staff, quite a big variety of different sushi and really spicy wasabi. All tastes awesome. So I have to give five stars too. :)

Small place. Could be cosy but it seems to be hovering undecidedly between a café and a sushi place with regards to atmosphere. The music was rather intrusive. Service was good. The food is very presentable and you can tell they work hard on that. Honest ingredients. However I was not amazed. Nigiri was surprisingly bland. In general the experience was pretty tame taste-wise and made the sushi feel weirdly charmless even though it looked so nice. Delicious, amazingly made squid. But the tempura shrimp was just so unbelievably tasteless. The rest of our menu was a bit above average because of good quality, varied ingredients, but still lacked flavor, which is just so strange for sushi.
