Cozy small cafe in the middle of Copenhagen - serves a great americano and have the most outstanding toasted banana bread with butter - the place to go when in need for calories or to get off the beaten track.
This is without any doubt one of the best cafés I have ever been to. The cake was excellent, well balanced and complex taste. The staff took great care to make our respective espresso and latte so that they would be finished at the same time. It was one of the best espresso I have ever had in my life, no exaggeration. Talked to the staff, very friendly btw, and they talked a lot about their craft. They seemed to be proud of their work, and so they should be.
Fantastic space and atmosphere make you want to return to Sonny, even though menu options and the food itself are far from exciting. The portions are rather modest, the prices are rather high, so you end up enjoying the space more than your food.
