Contrary to popular belief, Marinestation København is open for public, from sunrise to sunset, but not earlier than 8:00 a.m. The problem is the barrier at the entrance, barb wire and scary-looking sign, where English-reading person can only understand the word "STOP" and turns back. In small print and in Danish only, this sign sets the rules for public access. Moreover, in Marinestation København you can get on board several military ship, visit first military radio station in Denmark and get closest by land to the Royal yacht "KDM Dannebrog".

Helt forkert. Jeg holder meget af stedet. Den gamle Mastekran, er et af de helt store klenodier, som fortæller utroligt meget af den danske historie. Desuden er den et symbol på den danske flådes storhedstid.

Holmen... super lækker sted, adgang til blandt andet "Sælen" en gammel u-båd og andre af Det Danske Søværns skibe...benyttes stadigvæk af søværnet og til fælllesværns indkvartering...
