MISSION The mission of the International Centre for Indoor Environment and Energy (ICIEE) is to serve to achieve healthy, comfortable and productive indoor environments with minimal energy use. The activities focus on three critical issues: 1. Impact of indoor environment on health, comfort and performance of people (including buildings and vehicles). 2. Development and study of advanced and energy efficient systems for heating, ventilation, and cooling of spaces 3. Dissemination of results through papers, conferences, education and standardisation VISION ICIEE will be the world leading research centre on indoor environment and energy. ICIEE will provide planners and producers of buildings and HVAC systems with criteria, methods and tools for achieving an optimal indoor environment by design and during operation of low energy buildings and energy efficient HVAC systems.
