The housing foundation has many "backdoor" fees such as 50 fees for using a credit card and yet having that be the only option for payment. BE AWARE. They seem to not take much pride in Caring for their tenants for example lines are long and maintenance requests are delayed. It took THREE times calling the 24Hr. EMERGENCY number on the website at 11pm to warrant a response. When maintenance requests are acknowledged no notice is given besides a 5 second knock on the door. This is done whether or not they are asked to work on something. I would hope that at LEAST a 24 hour notice would be given to tenants which is the minimum LAW in my home state. In my opinion, this is an unfortunate invasion of privacy. However, I did enjoy that they are an organization set up to provide housing for international students. However this comes at a cost of expenses and poor service. Do research this company has been recently involved in several lawsuits and contrary to what you believe they claim to be a private company.

Please DO NOT get an accommodation through these guys. Their accounts are screwed up. The staff is very rude. Over charging the tenant. They have a big issue while returning your deposit amount. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS!

Far more expensive then booking directly through the buidlings themselves. I.e. I booked to stay at Solvage Kaserne (basecamp) with Housing foundation, only to cancel within 10 days when I booked directly with basecamp for 3500 Australian Dollars less for my 6 months abroad!! Much cheaper to not use third parties. Also, their room options are no where near as good as what you can get if you book directly with a housing building. I.e. I got a much larger room with more modern furniture when I booked directly with Basecamp.

When I first arrived in Kobenhavn I thought to contact and maybe rent out a room in one of the residences offered by this Foundation. The worst idea I have ever had. Not only the rooms are really expensive, the worst part is the bureaucracy and all the fees that pop out once you have already made the mistake to rent a room. Keep in mind, if you want a room here, that or you are VERY rich and patient, otherwise you will be in troble, my friend.

ATTENTION DON'T EVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THE HOUSING FOUNDATION, THEY HAVE LITERALLY STOLEN THOUSANDS OF DANISH CROWNS FROM THEIR RESIDENTS FROM TONES OF ILLEGAL FEES THAT HAVE CHARGED. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Worst agency ever! They do not care about the tenants, have nearly no staff so any contact with them is hard as hell. It is a total ripoff, they have a lot of hidden fees, demand that you pay everything in a very short period of time but it takes them days if not weeks to answer your mails and months to return your deposit or other money that they owe you, contracts are only in danish....! The fact that this agency is connectet to the University of Copenhagen is really embarrassing for the Uni and the city!

There is only one word for word this "institution" - SCAM. Do not even open their website.
