As an expatriate Dane since 25 years, I can heartily and truly testify that Den Gamle Kro serves the finest traditional Danish food I have ever had. The dishes — lunch, dinner, or coffee and cake — are “the real thing” and remind me of my childhood in South Jutland. On top, the service is attentive, courteous, and natural friendly.
