It will hardly get more Danish than this! Food is just right, old fashioned and all. Service is very efficient and kind. The people working there genuinely seems to love the place, which is infectious. Love the decor as well, perfectly fits the theme.

The food is really good and if you ever wan't to experience good danish smørrebrød, this is a really good Palace for it. The waiters was not very nice though, grumpy and pushy

Terrible food and service. I ordered 2 dishes, one was herring that was super sweet so that I just couldnt eat it. I asked for a non sweet herring and my dish was taken just to get the exact same dish. It was replaces finally with the fried herring that was promised to be non sweet. It was more sweet than the non fried. On the bill I was charged for both herring dishes. I complained but the weighter couldnt care less and demanded full payment and claimes they dont add sugar and the fish is sweet itself.. BS Stay away from this horrible restaurant. I've had very few such horrible restaurant experiences in my life.

Go for danish lunch kr dinner. This place is genuine. It has been the same for a very long time, and the food is good. The service is done by mature waiters. So if you need a break and some good food at a nice and historical site, just go where H.W.Larsen sharpen the Kitchen knifes
