Where arts meet nature …. walk in the little nice park with eight scattered sculptures down to Farum lake with its rich bird life. The park was established in summer 1999, when 1 danish and 7 foreign sculptors came together in Farum to an international sculptor symposium. They lived and worked together in 24 hours a day for a month to carve large stone blocks in marble and granite into the sculptures. In the middle of the sculpture park you find a sitting place, a table with a haiku poem and chairs carved into granite by the Japanese Jun-Ichi Inoue, called a “Meditative Place”. Certainly a perfect place to meditation and reflection...
