Interesting exhibit whose centerpiece is the giant diesel engine. It's size is epic proportions. On top of that lots of smaller diesel engine exhibits, as well as maritime history and more. Surprisingly enjoyable experience, especially considering it is free of charge!

This was a great little museum and it was free entry. My father worked with large, low speed engines and it was great to see an example. I myself work with medium speed engines so it was great to see the evolution and history of a similar technology. There were lots of interactive models as well, which are great to illustrate concepts and entertain kids. I really thought this was fun and can't believe it was free.
Very interesting museum! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you have any interest in engineering at all.
A very interesting free engine museum in copenhagen, home to the former largest engine in the world! Come the first or last Sunday in the month at 11, where they turn on the giant engine!!:)
Enjoyed this little museum with huge diesel engines!
The presentation before and after the motor started was quite good. They also had a nice exhibition to look at afterwards.
Awesome working museum plenty to see and read about.
Awesome museum! Full of things to see, touch and try like models and moving parts, everyone who works there is passionate about what they do and they're super-helpful and very happy to explain and share their experiences. Once every two weeks they start and run the big one: a 10 cilinder, 730 tons, 22500 hp engine which served the city of Copenhagen as a generator. Other engines run too every now and then but I don't know when... All very cool and recommended!
