OnlyThis is a review of the Theater itself as opposed to any performance (although at 100 per head the ballet I went to see here was far below expectations and experiences elsewhere). Bring one of the major performance venues for theater and the performing arts in Copenhagen I was very disappointed in the level of quality at this Theater. Whilst the building itself is beautiful, it has not been done to the best possible level. Lacking maintenance in some areas, with little effort put in to bring out the atmosphere and ambience that could have been achieved. The infrastructure seems to be in need of an update, audio at our performance was broken at least twice during the show and the quality of the audio was below standard. The air circulation is bad and the inside was quite warm and dry during the entire performance. Seating is still old style and not updated to have more of an angle to allow the persons head in front not to block your view. The bars are pretty bad and slow. You can order online ahead and then they keep your order out fully open on the window sill unattended for you to pickup. Leaving the online receipt under the glasses complete with your full name, email address and phone number for anyone of the hundreds of people out during intermission to pickup. An inexcusable lapse of privacy that is beyond belief in a place like Copenhagen in this day. Overall the experience was bad compared to equivelant venues globally and made me consider whether going to performances paying the prices in Denmark is actually worth it. I doubt I will be going anytime soon! So much more could have been done with such a beautiful building.

Problaly the best theater in Denmark as for musicals. The stages are always perfect and the actors amazing!
Super experience seeing the play \Oliver\ One of the most beautiful places in Copenhagen.
The New Theatre in Copenhagen is mostly devoted to musicals. I've only been there once but found the theatre quite nice but, if you're more than 180 centimeters tall you will suffer. I don't think that I've ever come across something like this before. Just horrible! I used a jacket to make the chair in front of me softer which I would recommend others to do as well.
Beautiful theatre in Copenhagen that presents quality content. Staff are nice and there is an interesting restaurant in the cellar of the theatre.
Great Venue with very good food and entertainment
The shows are good and mostly inspired by the international show world. This is an old theater with a lot of stairs, the seats are not comfortable if you are to spend several hours sitting down and the toilets are hard to access within the short breaks.
Wonderful evening attending the performance of Scent of Ink - Four seasons. Beautiful choreography, music and setting in Det Ny Teater.
