Nice small museum that gives a really good insight into the time during the occupation of Denmark and Aarhus during World War II. You get both a good overall insight and some concrete detailed stories, such as from prisoners of war, housewives (furnished apartment from the time), German soldiers, saboteurs, etc. Recommendable!

Museum for the occupation during second world war from 9th April 1940 to 5th May 1945. Reopened August 2020 after a long rebuilding with completely new exhibition. Interactive screens with information on Danish, English and German. Lots of artefacts related to the occupation, resistance and everyday life

Definitely worth the visit! Cheap entrance, and lots of information. Make sure to ask for the \prison cell experience\ before you leave!

The museum is good for someone who is into the subject but it has very little English translations.

A museum dedicated to displaying the dire times of Nazi occupation of Denmark during the Second World War. A good visit in combination with the Female History museum right next door, as both offer great insight into the past.
