Gigantium is a great location with many different activities to do. It is not a tourist location in any way. Gigantium offers a swimming pool, Ice rink and a hall for Basketball and Handball. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to practice a sport. It is also very close to the university and offers well priced tickets and subscriptions.

I only used the swimming facilities so far, it is a great place to swim, usually not too busy, other amenities like a jumping pool, water slide, sauna etc. are also available, which makes it attractive for a broader crowd. Only down side is that there is only one pool for actual swimming so when the place gets busy and swimming classes are going on for children, the pool gets crowded. If you are there to just swim, timing could be very important.

Were here on a concert. Surprisingly clean toilet facilities, fast service and decent food. Staff/Guards were among the happiest and friendliest i have ever met.

This is a very nice place for local culture events parking can be problematic so arrive early to popular events or better yet take public transportation.

We visit the Anique market in Gigantium twice a year - in autumn and in spring and every time it's an exciting experience for us. It was a bit different this year: very few of the new stuff (clothes, shoes, etc) and very good choice of real treasures from past: famous Danish porcelain, furniture, jewelry, carpets, and just cool things, that you will not find anywhere else, but at fleamarket or Antique market , like in Gigantium. The prices should be mentioned separately, just for the record: you may find a bargain there and the sky-high price , just do not give up and look around. Chances are high you'll find your treasure. ;)
