Camp with all possible facilities (except sauna). With tent, electricity and car you pay about 40, pro night. Not cheap but if you see the large and hypermodern kitchen, the clean sanitary, the saltwater swimmingpool next to the river and the large pitches you know why. The camping is also situated next to, and even partly around, an army museum. No free showering but if you pay for a camping pitch, you get a "creditcard" with 15 minutes of free showering. Each 4 and a half or 5 minute you have to wait about 30 seconds before you can use the showering cardreader again, reckon with that if you're washing your hair! Is the card empty than you hear the cardreader bleep several times. When you go to the reception for upgrading the card, you pay DK20, for each 5 minutes of showering. You also need the card for opening the fence, when you come from the swimming pool and walk to the campsite over the museumpath. Are you going to swim in the river (actually a narrow fjord that connects the Northsea with the Balticum, filled with salt water), watch out for jellyfishes, sometimes there are plenty of them! 9/10

Nice quiet camping site, clean showers and kitchen area is very convenient. Friendly staff. Safe and secure family environment. Perfect for cyclist traveling around Europe. UPDATE: 9/20/18 I initially give this campsite a 4 Star but now that I'm back home in the U.S. writing about my 2 months experience riding my bicycle around Europe I have to give them a 5 Star rating. The reason, they have the best bathroom facilities and kitchen area compare to 17 other campsites I stayed in Germany, France, Denmark, Italy, and Austria. So CONGRATULATIONS and Thanks Again!!

Great place for family day out. Many options for kids and youngs to play and enjoy. Fjordpark cafe itself is okay for something to grab. Nearest Aalborg Street food is great if it is open.

Great campsite, nice reception. Not cheap, but it shows. You can have a nice meal nearby at Street Food. Bit of noise from the road,but that is to be expected on a citycampsite. Lovely showers

Very clean and nicely situated campsite. The vestrefjordparken is a nice refreshment in the summer and you get free entrance in the war museum next door. The city center is also reachable by foot. All in all a great pick
