A great museum. It's filled with the history of Aalborg, since the first human occupations until recent periods. There are guides who speak both English and Danish. The signs on the walls that explain the exhibition's pieces are all in Danish, but there are panflets in English that have the translations. The collections are amazing. There are ancient instruments of torture, of housing, of common daily objects, of a classroom, of clothes. There's a part of the museum that is entirely dedicated to the German occupation during World War II that is really interesting, and the guide had many outstanding comments on how people lived through this period.

A place for people who want to know the history about folks of North Jutland.
A nice little local historic museum ️
Good environment but nothing spectacular in the collections.
Very good activity for children.
I think the exhibiting on the Berlin wall is really bad, the rest is ok...?
I went here with my parents and we do not understand Danish. This was not a problem for most of the museum, as there are small leaflets with translations of some of the text. However, I was very disappointing that the exhibit I looked forward to most, the section on the Nazi occupation, was not translated at all.
Very nice, but museum needs more place.
