Someone once told me that The Danish people are as cold as their weather but trust me the people at 1000Fryd are some of the warmest I've ever met in my travels. Ian and his team are just the best. Good music, nice and warm people and a good philosophy. Once you're in Aalborg you shd pass by for a drink or two.
One of the most open-minded and tolerant activity centres in Aalborg. It holds strong values and gives space for counter-culture to evolve, in form's of music, art, cinema and books. Don't be scared away by occasional emptiness in the house, since it's activist run, it has unpredictable flow of people every week. Get to talk to some activists and let them help you to find out more about the house. My favourite space that I recommend is the Peepshop, which is a free, non-profit cinema running twice a week together with a political Bookcafe that is always open for discussions.
I don't always go to a bar, but when I do it's 1000 fryd. Cheap beer with damn good metal/rock music.
This is the place for real people who like real music and vegan food. 1000Fryd has the best prices in Aalborg, and 1000Fryd makes everyone feel welcome ️
Insane good drum n bass, super friendly stuff, good mood and nice Public. Quite good sound system, location is cool. Would recommend when in town. Very alternative!!
