We celebrated our wedding at the Old Merchant’s Court/Den Gamle Købmandsgaarden in late August 2020 and could not have hoped for a more perfect day. We are still amazed at how easy everything felt, from the bureaucratic side of things to planning the details of the day. Having Yuki as our wedding planner was invaluable, and knowing that every detail was taken care of allowed us to look forward to and fully enjoy our day. From our initial contact in May to our wedding day in August, Yuki guided us through all planning stages and she was always extremely supportive and quick to reply to our many e-mails. Given covid-19, our plans changed several times over the course of the summer. We were initially planning to have the ceremony on our own, but ended up as a group of 15 when it became clear that friends and family would be able to join us in Denmark. Yuki was completely accommodating of our changing plans and made sure every detail was taken care of. She also helped coordinate a wedding tapas reception for our wedding group at DGK Café down in the court yard and recommended restaurants in Ærøskøbing for our wedding dinner. Every detail of the wedding was extremely aesthetically pleasing: the wedding room is stunning and we loved the attention to detail reflected in the way the mirrors, vases, flowers and candles were arranged. We couldn’t have hoped for a more perfect place to get married. Thanks to the team at DIW, we were able to relax and enjoy our day with our loved ones and everything went smoothly from start to finish. For couples looking for a beautiful and special wedding day, but without the work and stress that can come with organising a wedding, we unequivocally recommend DIW.

BEST. DAY. EVER. We were looking to get married in Denmark to not having to hussle with the paperwork (being a French-German couple living in Switzerland makes administration a real pain!) - so all we expected was a simple, easy wedding. What we got was exceeding our expectations by far - a DREAM come true, really. The team of Danish Island Weddings (such lovely people!) planned and organized the perfect day for us with the most romantic BEACH WEDDING you can image. Thank you so much, Louise, Yuki and John! Every detail was just so thoughtful and tailored to what we like and we felt like we were in the right hands from the very beginning.We've just had our 1 year anniversary and we couldn't be happier to have made those wonderful memories on Aero.

Me and my girlfriend were in a dire situation as we were separated due to Corona and forced to have a Skype relationship for a few months. To change this I proposed to my (now) wife and contacted a few agencies throughout Denmark. Soon it was clear that we would choose Danish Island Weddings (DIW). Why? Simple: every single response (and there were many) was tailored to my questions, filled with details and most importantly friendly. DIW guided us through the process and were always available for follow-up questions. We had the room in the Old Merchants Cours for the ceremony. Like this, it made the ceremony not a purely administrative act, but it felt like a somethings special. The cake was awesome as well. All in all, with our guests (in total 7 persons) we had a lovely, emotional and personal ceremony. We would not have wanted it any other way. Also, I would like to mention that Aero in summer is a truely magical place which made us feel like in fairy tales / the Shire. Nice weather, walks at the sea, bike tours... A nice destination to stay a little while longer and do the honey moon right away :) So, thanks to DIW! You helped us a lot.

My husband and I were recently married on Ærøskøbing with this incredible family run business, and their energy of warmth and helpfulness assisted the entire process. This could not have possibly gone more smoothly due to their foresight, organization and thoroughness. Additionally, I had the salvation of Louise who made me a gorgeous crown of succulents and lavender at the last minute when the florist I went through did a poor job. I would source Louise and Danish island weddings for all your needs since the artistry and attention to detail is so impeccable. Although we were married far from our homes and without our family and friends present, the people involved in helping this day manifest were so genuine, warm, and welcoming that it truly made the occasion special. Danish island weddings takes care of everything and it makes what can be a stressful occasion so much more enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you, our day was magically and we owe a lot of that to you!! All the best ️

The service was flawless from the first moment on. Yuki in particular guided us through every step of the process. The replies on our questions were always within half an hour if not shorter. Also excellent service with helping us getting married at the CPH City Hall, the hassles of our different passports and the border restrictions due to covid-19.
