Very nice forest and marshland that is open for free tenting (at the time of writing). There is plenty of space and opportunity to set up a tent, and even a hammock. The website that lists free tenting does not mention that there is a section of the forest for dogs off leash. You may not want dogs wandering into your camp, so check out the map of the forest beforehand. There are plenty of well-maintained trails for hiking and mountain biking in beautiful scenery.

A really beautiful and peaceful place. It's hard to imagine that it is less than half an hour away from the busy life of central Copenhagen. It is a really nice place to go, to get away from the daily stress and just relax for a bit. There is even a couple of places where you can start a campfire, if you want to go for a cozy picnic trip.
A nice Forrest with mtb trails, which are well maintained and continually updated with new features and segments!
A lovely Copenhagen getaway for just 30-minute train ride from Nørreport. I love going to Hareskoven, especially when the leaves have turned colour (read: autumn). It feels so serene here and yet not that far out from civilisation that if you get lost in the woods, you could still use your GPS and follow the train sounds to get you back to the world of people. There are also jogging and mountain bike trail if you feel like you're up to the challenges. There are also some organised mushroom tours here in the fall by the Mushroom organisation (yes, there is such a thing!) All in all, great place to escape the city life once in a while.

Et super god skov til at gå tur i. Hvis det er vinter og masser af sne, så tag kælken med. Der er gode bakker til at kælke på. Er du til cykling, kan skoven her også anbefales. Der er gode spor og forhindringer til at cykle i.
Som hundeskov får stedet en stjerne.. Det skyldes at løse hunde og mountainbike ikke er en god blanding.. Så pas på jeres hund Hvis man er på mountainbike kunne den godt få 5 stjerner. Der bliver bygget nye cykelspor.
