Pretty castle and fun to explore! The route was set out well to visit and see all chambers in the castle. The medicinal garden was a real pleasure too to see not only the plants, but also where they were used for or able to cure! Very interesting.

Beautiful place, nice castle surrounded by a moat, and a great big garden. They offer games for the children such as archery. It is also fun for the children to explore the castle anyway. I am missing a possibility to buy sandwiches there, but the shop is great and they sell honey herbs from their garden and plenty of educative toys for children. Really lovely to visit.

A beautiful maintained castle and herb garden. Wonderful to take a tour on the grounds. Herb garden is really well maintained and smells very nice. You can pay with credit card. Kids under 18 are free. This is the most well preserved castle in Denmark.

Great afternoon spent here wandering the gardens and roaming the haunted halls. They do a pretty interesting ghost tour here, and they also have a haunted house experience on Halloween. Check it out!

All newly restored and well organized. They have a welcome center with very clean toilets, gift shop and an exhibition about medieval clothing and the meaning of herbs. Outside is a clean park that invites you to picnic and an appetizingly scenting herbal garden. So relaxing. The castle is also worth the entry fee and the \ensrettet\ one-way street signs guide you logically thru the castles rooms. Dogs can be brought, but are not allowed inside the historic buildings . The entry fee is quite high, as we are used to in Denmark.
