Our short visit to Susanne Mainsoe's Gallery made the highlight of the whole Denmark trip. It is a magic and healing place; no wonder in such an environment that Susanne could paint so beautifully. Susanne showed us around her gallery and her husband's studio at the back garden, they have a very different style of painting, but both inspiring. We also had a chance to have a look their newly renovated holiday flat, classic Danish design with an elegant touch of two artists. The two comic books from Susanne’s husband, which Susanne gave to our children as presents, were read many times on the train ride back home, even though we couldn't understand Danish. The little painting I bought from Susanne is right in front of me on the table brings me back to the beautiful time while I am writing these words. That is the magic of art! Galleri Mainsoe is definitely worth visiting.
