Overall experience was excellent. We enjoyed the tranquility of Rødvig and the hospitality of this well kept Badehotel.

We had a lovely time exploring the area and were looked after superbly here. The staff are brilliant with attention to detail at every point, partuculartly during meals which were superb. Some of the tastiest breakfast muslie and fresh fruit ever. It would have been nice to personally thank the chef(s) but I really felt they were rather busy. An especially clean, tidy and friendly beach side hotel, 1min walk to the little pier there for a swim. We were not in school holidays but late August. We still had to book well in advance so I can only imagine how busy it might get during peak summer. My only issue was space to hang out clothes which was totally limited to basic coat hooks so that is something I found only ever slightly annoying.
Dinner Thanks for trying .... They have a vegan gluten free menu. The first course was fine just very small. The main was 3 baby carrots a some peas spring onion and a lot of haricots verts... all in a lot of oil, some chili (taste less). 195dkk for this no inspiration or love.... I asked for some potato’s to not get out of the table hungry. The 2 stars is for the plaice my partner had been longing for in a long time.
Very nice hotel and situated in a unique spot! Nice rooms, good restaurant and superbe breakfast.
Wonderful place almost directly on the seashore. Food is good an a lot of opportunities for nature walks the year around.
It is the most beautiful place to visit and the hotel is in itself an experience. The hospitality is amazing the food was soo good. We stayed at the beach house which was an top of the world experience. Highly recommended :)
This is s fantastic place, so much history and culture embedded in the surrounding nature and the ground of this place. The surroundings does not only offer you a spectacular view over the Klint but also fantastic opportunities to explore by foot, by bike or by kayak. I was kidnapped and taken here on my 60th birthday, which I will remember forever. We were lodged in the annex to the hotel itself in a converted villa, most of the rooms share bathroom and there are some common areas and a terrace where you can sit down and enjoy a glas of wine or coffee. Really nice except for a few things! Suddenly the common room was reserved to a company conference, on the Sunday! This locked all other guests out from using the lounge, terrace and kitchen facilities! And the possibility to make coffee in the morning. Very strange decision by the hotel. There was no explanation or excuses offered by the Hotel! Shared bathrooms are of course a bit inconvenient but for a night or two it is ok. It puts a bit more pressure on the hotel to uphold cleanliness. Sadly the hotel fail to do so! The most essential amenities fail, basically because the cleaning staff cannot read Danish so the only available selection for your shower is body lotion? The bathrooms were only cleaned once during the entire day and when you share with 10 - 15 other guests I believe there is need for some more attention. It is hard to give a fair rating! The hotel itself, setting, restaurant & atmosphere gets almost top ratings from me. On the other hand, service, customer concern and bathroom cleanliness gets a very low score. Strange , as it would require so little by the hotell to score high in all disciplines!l
My enterprise have booked 14 nights. In 5 nights they made me change 4 times. This last time they didn't even warn me about. Just pick my personnel belongings without any notice... Over here they are only concerned about danish costumers.. This is DISCRIMINATION. This situation is for me and my other 6 colleagues. IF YOU ARE NOT DANISH, I ADVICE TO NOT COME HERE...
