Ib Laursen ApS was founded as a retail shop in 1971 by Ib Laursen, but has since developed into being one of Scandinavia’s biggest wholesale suppliers of decor. The 900 m² of office, showroom and storage buildings of the company are beautifully situated on the outskirts of Denmark’s oldest town, Ribe. In 2007, Peter Laursen took majority control after a long planned generational handover, and was subsequently appointed CEO after his father, Ib Laursen. The main objective continues to be constant development and being ahead in terms of design, quality and service. Ib Laursen ApS has sales representatives/agents in Denmark, Norway, Germany and Holland and more than 50 employees at the headquarters in Ribe, all eager to service the still growing retailer network.
