Mads Lerches gård - \Mads Lerches yard\ This has to be one of the most beautiful and traditional buildings we have in my hometown Nyborg. It was build in 1601 by Mayor Mads Lerche, and served as townhall at the time. The roof is layed with original style uncoated pantile, which is burned at extra high temperatures, that give the tiles a natural play in colour. Today it function both as a museum and a hub for historical crafts, such as medieval sewing (the best in the country) and authentic blacksmithing. Come visit our beautiful medieval city.
