I’m kind of annoyed by the reviews, but it’s still their opinion and I can also share mine. I still go to CIS and been there since 2016. The community insures that everyone is welcome and fits in. Although I had my fare share of drama and etc, the teachers and counsellors try and solve the problem. The IB program is a bit challenging but teachers want to make sure that you can understand the curriculum. I also like how we have many sports we can choose from and tournaments like NECIS and DISNAC. But one thing I would change is the students approach to school. People need to know that school is a place with friends and learning. I’m also sorry that this is EXTREMELY long.

Sorry for asking but I have been loking at the comments for a bit and I can see that there are many who say the school is bad. I have been looking at the place because maybe I would like to start in high school at the school. My question is do you guys think I should start or not. If you say no, can you plaese recomend me some other ib high schools in the Copenhagen area. Thanks for your help.

Management of the school since the move to Nordhavn has been shaky but my experience with the teachers was always good. Simply cooking wasn't the best either, but if you're not satisfied with the food at campus you can just make some at home and bring it to school. As a C.I.S alumni it's disappointing seeing so many negative reviews of the school when I personally had such a great time. My sincerest thanks to my high school teachers for pushing me and the rest of the class through the tough periods of the I.B and being there for support when we needed it, despite their schedules being so full. Unfortunately the I.B isn't for everyone and I had to learn that the hard way, but it isn't fair to blame the entire C.I.S staff for my results. I look back on my memories at C.I.S as some of my best times with great friends and outstanding teachers. Thank you C.I.S. Sincerely, Class of 2018.

I have been going to CIS for a long time now, and let me assure you, you have not tasted disappointment more bitter than purchasing cake from SimplyCooking only to realise that it tasted like soggy fragrant cardboard & then continuing to remember the hævenly nutella croissants they used to sell oh so bitterly. PS: Don't even get me started on the library - WHICH IS ABOVE THE CAFETERIA (THE NOISIEST PLACE IN THE ENTIRE BUILDING)

Poor safety (our son was in a school bus wreck as the only student and they didn’t tell us), poor location with no green space and terrible traffic, bulleying by both students and teachers, generally disorganized, poor quality instruction and substandard curriculum, and zero teacher-parent engagement. Easily the biggest unexpected disappointment of our child’s formal education.
