Bridgewalking Lillebælt Reviews | Rating 4.7 out of 5 stars (8 reviews)

Bridgewalking Lillebælt is located in Middelfart, Denmark on Galsklintvej 4. Bridgewalking Lillebælt is rated 4.7 out of 5 in the category museums and institutions in Denmark. You can go to Sydney. Or Lillebælt. In both places, you can walk above a bridge. Experience the height. The sinking feeling. The spectacular and unimpeded view. Enjoy the water. The ships. The view towards the land. The weather. The weak shaking of the bridge when a train is rumbling over the bridge. Bridgewalking Lillebælt is a new, unique attraction in Europe. In May 2015, the first tourists took a walk to the top. Please come along and have quite a unique experience, which has not been possible in Europe before. The walk will start at The Welcome Centre. Here our very skilled guides will meet and prepare you for the wonderful walk you are going to take. You will walk together from the Welcome Centre to The Old Lillebælt Bridge where you will be connected to a security system – and then you are going up! At a height of 60 metres, you will cross the bridge. During the walk, the guide will inform you of the bridge architecture, the history, the building and the nature around Lillebælt. We look forward to welcoming you in the heights!

It's not the biggest bridge in the world but that's okay, it is still a very cool - and very cold if you go in winter - experience. The walk does have some stairs and ladders so the easonably fit\ requirement is not a joke. The walk itself is not too demanding though. The guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job making sure everyone had a great walk.

Great view, excellent guide, we saw porpoise whales from above.

A couple of hours of breathtaking views and guiding on top of the bridge

A unique experience. Walk across the top of 1935 Little Belt Bridge. While not recommended to those with a fear of heights, the view is extraordinary and unlike any other in Denmark. Do note that it is a 2 hour walk across the bridge, and a significant amount of ladder and stair climbing is involved.

An amazing experience! The view form the top of the bridge is amazing and the feeling when cars/trains cross the bridge is incredible.

Great experience! Very friendly and informative guide with a lot of interesting stories about the construction of the bridge and excellent local knowledge. Nothing strenuous about the walk, but you'll need to have a head for heights. You can feel the vibrations when a train passes - even better when it's a freight train....:-)
