Rosa Danica’s primary objective is to produce high quality plants in the light of green awareness. Rosa Danica has worked closely with German W. Kordes’ Söhne to develop the new potted rose Kordana®. All the Kordana® varieties are a result of a dedicated crossing programme in the hands of W. Kordes’ Söhne with subsequent test growing carried out by Rosa Danica, who also tests the quality of the roses. The close collaboration has resulted in a range of potted roses that live up to all demands that producers, distributors and consumers can think of. From 2011 the original production of the Kordana® potted rose has been expanded to also include Tendenza® Schlumbergera and Tendenza® Ripsalidopsis. Also these plants are the results of extensive product development efforts which means that the nursery can constantly present new and exciting varieties and colours as part of its appealing range of products. As the latest result of its targeted product development programme Rosa Danica has launched the Tendenza® Campanula Portenschlagiana. This refined variety boasts a very notable blue colour and has a very compact and homogeneous appearance.
