It's a well preserved piece of culture. The houses are kept just as they were, and it is fascinating to look at how things used to be. There's several closely clustered houses such as the smithy, the forester's house and they contain old furniture and relics such as pots, doll houses, weaving machines and tools. There are also several spots with old Danish games that are fun for adults and kids alike. The place also has the oldest wind mill in Denmark (the post being 426 years old) which is magnificent to look at. All in all, it's worth a quick visit when in Lolland.

A nice place to be... Interesting sights, unfortunately not too many English descriptions
Interesting place, tells the story of how people used to live. The buildings are authentic. Entrance price I very reasonable. It's allowed to bring your own food and drinks, there are benches and tables around the area of the museum. The museum is very child friendly, but there isn't s lot for the youngest children to watch og play with.
Such a fun museum, definitely worth visiting! Take the train there. It's a fun historical museum that reminds you why you should appreciate your electricity and free flowing water
Very nice museum. There is a lot to see und you get interesting information.
A very nice museum , its not as big as the one in Kgs. Lyngby , but the nature around it is fantastic , very nice for a long walk in nature after you have been seeing the museum !
Beauty of old buildings...some are dated as 16th century.
