It was very fun to sleep and live like vikings for 5 days. I especially liked making jewelry and sailing in the boats. The animals were very friendly and it was fun to catch the goat when my friend let it out . Making food and chopping wood was hard but fun at the same time. The horses where very pretty.

Great outdoor place I will surely visit again. We talked to a young woman inside the kings hall that were very informative about the lives and the livelihood of the vikings. Great storytelling that intrigued the kids a lot.

Love the new Viking Hall and the surrounding landscape. Gives a great insight to historical living. Great guides.

Fantastic to see the new viking king's hall. 1000 tons of oak went in to this project, and the building is monstrous in size

Lovely place to visit. Don’t forget to get a guide or download their application as it makes the experience better. Also when visiting during summer, there’s a opportunity to grill, so you might consider doing that as well.

Lovely people, and a wonderful piece of the world. Many of their tasks for the public has been shut down due to covid 19 and the overall experience suffers a bit because of that. But still had a great day.

We loved to go there last year, this time the activities were limited because of the COVID-19 precautions. We missed the weapon demo and playing in the huts with all the viking \tools\. On the other hand, there was a new performance at the king's hall, and the animals were out, so our kids had a lot of fun anyways.

We took the train and bus from Copenhagen to reach this place. We entered at the opening, with big group of kids. Optimal because you can take a walk around, not optimal because the workshops start at 10:30. We had to leave around 12:00 so besides the sites we could only enjoy a boat ride, you have to either stay full day or plan very accurately to attend them depending on their schedule. The food offer was very plain, just some sandwiches.
