Really cool astronomic cinema. Has a large, arched screen, with amazing seats to choose from. For Danes, watching physics-related films here is easy, and the fantastic staff of the monument have also added English translation to those that need it. It is all in all a fantastic place, and I would DEFINITELY recommend visiting here. (Also, there is a useful exhibition at the bottom of the cinema which is definitely worth a visit).

Get ready to visit this place (only if you speak and understand fluently Danish) post Covid! I've visited Planetarium's exhibitions of the Universe as well as a few of their lectures about different topics related to the Milky Way and a lot about the physics related to it. It is for sure not a place you'd bring a small child to. Nor is for the people not at all interested in the Universe. But if you speak Danish and you are an Universe fan - this is the right place to be in Denmark.

It is a very poor planetarium, they don't have a place for see the starts, or similar, so boring

The building is of colossal size. There is a huge screen, it was fun to watch a movie (we got into the history of shuttles). There is also a type of computer games: try to land the ship on two engines (a nontrivial task), get a rocket from Earth to Mars (both planets move and have an attraction), assemble a satellite for different planets of the Solar system (different components are needed). This is how information is presented in a playful way.

Lower your expectations! The "exhibition" is now a bunch of fancy screens and therefore no longer has e.g. the physical scale model of the solar system. The movie theater itself is now even harder to find - there are red signs pointing to many things like toilets, the exit, etc, but not to the theater entrance (and it is not where it used to be). The movie screen itself is supposed to be recently updated - but it shows major distortions, the image is often unsharp, and the projectors' cooling fans are very loud.

We didn’t visit the planetarium but had lovely sundowners on the steps overlooking the canal. It’s a great place to chill with others in the warm afternoon sunshine

One of my favourite experience in Copenhagen! I loved this so much. You can pick a movie, many of them have primary audio in English. Even if they are originally in Danish, they will launch English audio in your headphones (you will receive free headphones at start). The movies are fascinating and you can watch them on 1km2 screen, it will take you directly to space and you float among the stars and planets. Amazing. Entrance is free with the Copenhagen card which is really convenient. 100% recommended, you shouldn't omit this place if you have some free time in Copenhagen.

There was one particular exhibition about what we and the universe are made of. This was so good! Then we watched an American space documentary movie plus some videos on the universe in the dome, very good!
