Delicious food, good service, friendly atmosphere, and close to all public transport. Despite being a very picky meat eater, I ordered the butter chicken lunchtime special and wasn't disappointed. The chicken breast was properly cooked with no fat or skin, and the sauce was thick, creamy and perfectly spiced. Don't let thoughts of the Indian restaurant that used to be in the same spot put you off. It's under new ownership, and it's nothing like the poor excuse for a restaurant that used to be there. Urban Indian is worth a visit for anyone who enjoys good quality, well cooked Indian food.

The BEST place for Indian food in Copenhagen (and we've tried a lot!). The spices are perfect in every dish, bringing both depth in flavor and zing in every bite. It's fresh food prepared well. Prices are normal for Copenhagen, and my family uses this as a treat as often as we can.
Taste is excellent; however food is a bit rough on the stomach (i.e. spicy, oily). Service was polite and quick. Takeout experience was superior. Entrance ambiance was nice.
Excellence, elegance in just everything the exterior, interior, ambiance, accessories used, furnitures, lighting and the best delicious authentic food. Brilliant mind blowing proven authenticity in everything. Reminds me and makes me feel like being in India. A must try restaurant for all type of foodies. A wide variety of options to choose from in both veg and non veg. You are allergic no worries they have options to take care. Tied our hands by being able to give only 5 stars. It’s worth a million stars. Wish you become the best Indian restaurant in the city. Kudos to the great minds who created it.
Finally a place that serves the food that tastes authentic and most importantly yummy. The atmosphere is really cozy. The place is clean and tidy and the music selection is really good. Service is very important to my while dining in a restaurant and I Found the people working there very nice. The girl in the reception was really sweet while welcoming and suggested us the best menu. The food came out quick and served very nicely. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely recommend the place to people who are in search for spicy, authentic and tasty north Indian food.
I didn't believe it until tried it myself. The quality of Urban Indian exceeds all the other Indian places I have tried in Copenhagen, in all conceivable aspects. First and foremost, the food is exquisite and the portions generous. Where the restaurant really stands out is the ambience, which I found flawless. If you like to eat out not just for the food, but also for the overall experience, this is the place. Service - great. Prices are very reasonable and generally correspond to what I'd expect in a good Indian restaurant in Copenhagen.
The food has lots of taste and an authentic touch, but it’s like most of their dishes want to be too many things at once. The taste is just going in many different directions, which unfortunately results in an incoherent food experience.
