Yeah this place is legit and absolutely authentic! I’m an American visiting Copenhagen for a week and while searching for food options close by I clicked on this place ironically, mostly to make fun of what I was sure would be bad American food. Also I’m never the kind to eat American food while traveling abroad. But when I looked at the pictures and read the menu (truffle burger!) I realized this was amazing hipster American food and my guy was sold. If you want actual American style bacon or real American burgers or fried pickles or onion rings that are legit af, or a real milkshake or pumpkin spice or American breakfast, I could keep going... They have it all and they are amazing and their prices are excellent and their service is top notch! Not only does this place have killer authentic American food, but the people who work here and own it are genuine and authentic as well. They are great people and the place has absolutely great vibes. Very awesome people and very awesome food! Don’t miss out on this place!

What a great experience First visit, but definitely not the last! Very sweet and attentive staff, great burgers, Buffalo Wings and Onion Rings to die for and diner with just the right amount of Americana on the walls. We'll be back! (Also need to try breakfast and the shakes)
Really tasty and delicious food at fair prices - loved the omelet with cheese and bacon. Cozy place, fast and very kind and observant service.
Great place with amazing burgers small but with a very nice atmosphere. Had a freakshake as well which was really great. Definitely worth a visit. Will be coming back again soon. Service was quick and very friendly. Everything was served with a smile which only made it more delicious
Our second visit at The Midwestern Diner lived up to all the hype we had from the first one. Great service, great prices and last but not least an AWESOME gluten free burger! One of our favourite places to eat in Copenhagen. Thank you! :)
This was really really good! decent prices too. I had the veggie burger which I HIGHLY recommend, probably the best burger i've ever had.
Outstanding. Really tasteful. Service is over the top. I can highly recommend a brunch at this diner. Service is swift and super friendly. We were a party of 5 and kind of had a bit of everything off the menu, and everyone was happy. Tables can be booked on their website.
Fantastic service and good food if a bit pricey. Staff was truly wonderful.
