There are restaurants and then there are Restaurants. This was a stunning experience all the way from the reception to the goodbye! Just go there!
A wonderful experience, the wine menu pairing is a must have. The food and experience is top notch. They supplied hand sanitizer for every table and take the utmost precautions with guests health without talking away from the experience of dining here.
Alouette is INCREDIBLE! It is definitely one of my top three pics in Copenhagen. If you are around in the city and enjoy fine dining, this is a must-go place for you. The food is extremely well prepared with great ingredients and a tremendous focus on the product. The suggested wine pairing list matches really well the dishes. I’m definitely coming back!
Update: After revisiting Alouette I can only say that these gals and guys just keep getting better. Food is evolving, service has gotten even sharper and the setting is unique to say the least. Alouette is value for money without cutting any corners. A hidden gem that masters show but keeps the focus on the important stuff, the food and the drink. Farm to table, on season, the produce is nothing but the best. Wines are picked with care and the non-alcoholic options are just as exciting. They accommodate for dietary requirements and staff is in point, friendly and knowledgeable. These guys are keeping up with best in their class in town.
Friday dinner at Alouette - had they not placed friendly outgoing employees outside the restaurant to help us find the way we would wandered the streets of Amager still. You enter through the backyard, up to first level using a freight elevator and behind the beautiful decorative door we found Alouette. The food was good, the service young and easy going and the champagne fine. Love everything about it except for the noise - it is the most noisy Michelin restaurant we have ever been at which is why we’ve only given it four out of five stars. Hope they will solve this problem.
Stunning restaurant, stunning service, and stunning food. Had the great fortune to try both the wine pairing and the non-alcoholic pairing and I have to admit that the non-alcoholic pairing was absolutely spot on and in my opinion worked even better than the wines (which were already excellent).
Great experience, nice food and very kind staff. Considering the price range it is a very decent choice if you would like to eat in a Michelin star restaurant in Copenhagen. Getting into the place is an additional adventure through an old factory building.
