Add this place to your to-do list for Copenhagen. It's the oldest cheese shop in Denmark, about 130 years old (and maybe a few days at the time of this review). The place exudes creativity - lots of artsy details, which it was very hard to stop photographing; The owner, Soren is very warm and friendly, and very knowledgeable of the cheese and stuff in the store. The cheese plate was custom made -- the choice of sides to complement the Danish cheeses was a celebration for the palate. We loved the playful, artistic decoration -- the cute wooden mice, with watery eyes, reading from the cheese encyclopedia, opened -- you guessed right -- Danbo Danish cheese (few shelves further). Soren and his shop are sufficient for a pretext to visit Copenhagen again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

If you like cheese, go there! The guy that is working there (owner?) will help you with everything, tell you all that is to know about the cheese and give you recommendations.

Copenhagen's oldest cheese store, but the rather small and disappointing selection isn't anywhere near what all other stores has to offer.
Fantastic stop for a delicious cheese sandwich and coffee. Sit outside at the small tables and watch Copenhagen fly by. The owner, Soren, knows his cheese and he is also an artist. Perhaps he will show you some of his photographs and share a story or two about his adventures. A diamond in the city.
The best cheese shop in Copenhagen ! Big selections. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, speak fluently English, French etc . you will spend a great time tasting and selecting some danish cheese to take home. Les fromages danois sont délicieux !!
