Beautiful church. The masons / bricklayers did a amazing job!

I was surprised, outside looks dark and close, but inside is spacious, bright and calm. Normally with i don’t like churches, this was the exception.

Wasn’t sure if this visit would be worth the travel as it is a little bit out of downtown, but it totally is! The facade looks imposing and hermetic when you approach the building, but once inside, a feeling of calm and beautiful lighting overtake your senses. Incredibly effective use of scale, lighting, and simple material palette. Less is definitively more in this beautiful church.
A beautiful church that represent the ultimate synthesis of the Danish architecture. Six million ocher bricks make this gigantic building. Inside is minimal and it develops vertically. Not many people visit it and its an absolute pleasure for photographers. Be careful to not visiting during the service. Check on the website for opening hours and always give it a call if you want to visit.
This is easily one of my favorite churches. The lighting and tall pillars are amazing. I would say it's a must visit if you're in ever in Copenhagen. It was easy to drive here and to find a parking space.
Masterpiece of Expressionistic Architecture
It was a nice experience , I liked it , although I wasn't quite impressed as the majority of reviews says. I believe it's still worth going but my expectations were so high (from reviews hereby posted ) that , again, I found it not particularly \impressive\ , just nice . Part of the check list while in Copenhagen. I thought it was interesting that town houses tightly and closely surround the church , now that is something !
