A nice little bakery in the Islands Brygge neighbourhood that makes and bakes their own products. From what I gather this is all done on premises as well. There is a good v variety of bread and Danish sweet pastries that are perfect to take home to have with some tea or coffee. A very local place and obviously frequented by many of the locals. If you are around the neighbourhood abs have not tried sine of the products on offer, then you should head there for sure. Reasonable prices too and friendly people working here!

I’ll be honest and say that Morell’s is not my favourite bakery on Bryggen, but the ladies here are so incredibly sweet and friendly - so this is the place to go if you want to experience warm Danish hospitality :) definitely worth a try if you fancy the more traditional style of Danish baking. You can find classics like “kaffebrød” which you otherwise would never see at the more artisanal bakeries in the area. A great place to explore traditional Danish baked goods!
Good backegry traditional and with great service
Local bakery with traditional danish pastry. Large selections of breads and cakes and affordable prices compared to for example Lagkagehuset. The quality can sometimes be underwhelming and not as good as the competition
