Very interesting star-shaped fortress, built with earth protection walls. Free entrance, it closes at 22.00. Construction in progress on the main road inside until 2021.
This 17th century star shaped fortress is very cool to wonder around, entry was free. Everything is so well maintained and all the plant and trees are so luscious and green. Would definitely pop in if you are passing by.
The whole place was absolutely stunning. We could see the local population making good use of the area for jogging, dog walking and keeping fit. We ourselves walked a fair amount around this place as we discovered the colourful buildings along with a windmill on this ground. Close to the little mermaid. No entry fee applicable. Must see. Highly recommended.
An absolutely beautiful and free park, where you can walk around for hours, and truly enjoy the beautiful scenery. It’s super close to the famous little mermaid statue as well as other statues, so it’s a good place to visit other touristy locations. Also, they have three bathrooms and many places to have a picnic, or just sit and relax and read a book. It’s such a picturesque park.
Beautiful castle. One of the highlights of my trip to Copenhagen. It is pleasant to stroll around this castle and on the walls of the fortress. You can see many locals jogging. Lush green lawns and there Gothic little church are picturesque.
We see lots of people walk and run around the pentagram moat. Seems like a residential area now. Calm and nice place to be. There is also a pretty windmill at one of the corners.
Beautiful park, free of charge with some lovely views. The water is clean, and there is a wide variety of bird life around the moat. The fortress is interesting. It is also very close to the Little mermaid and other touristy places. This was our first stop as tourists in Copenhagen and it set the scene for more beautiful things to come.
