This place is a genuine heaven. I had butter chicken and mango lassi.. oh man, I am telling you, I have never had something this good... so creamy, buttery, balanced... and the staff there is also amazing. So helpful, fun and extremely, I mean, extreeeemely nice. Super enjoyed everything about this place from the first moment when we started to get recommendations. Can’t wait to be back. 10 out of five stars for mango lassi, 25 stars out of five for butter chicken and 100 stars out of five for the staff. Overall, 135 stars. Google, please, this place needs a 135 rating scale.
It's hard to find a good Indian place in Copenhagen but finally we found this little gem. Lovely comfort food, generous portions and delightful service. We will definitely become regulars. I particularly enjoyed the lamb korma and the butter chicken - meat was super tender and the sauces creamy and rich. The garlic naan was yummy, too!
Easily the best Pakistani-Indian regional food in Copenhagen. We love the butter chicken and the lamb korma. Friendly staff/owners who are always up for a chat about the restaurant and the food. Prices are a little high, but the quality makes you come back.
Simple yet wonderful curry! We were visiting Copenhagen and happy to find this little gem right next to a metro station, serving hot curries in cold and wet winter. We could taste that the food was made from fresh ingredients.
Great reviews from Mad About Copenhagen and then such a disappointment. Probably the worst Indian dishes we have ever had. Butter Chicken: maybe five small pieces of meat, no taste, a lot of cream and oil Lamp Korma: spicy, extremely oily and completely tasteless, bad quality meat chunks (I could not eat it). The Naan was no Naan but some other kind of industrialised bread.
It is a jewel in the middle of so many restaurants. Fresh food with fresh ingredients. I would say it was an absolute treat to eat here.
Very good Inidan food. Very tasty and the cheicken is very tender. The rice is delicious. All that, in warm and cozy place in the heart of Christianshavn. The service has a big smile on and they are very service minded. I can totally recommend this place. May be one of the best Inidan food places in Copenhagen? It could be.
